Nicole has toured solo works to festivals such as Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Perth´s Fringe World Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Mainly, these works have been alternative comedy, consisting of character comedy, multimedia, musical comedy, and stand up.
She began performing stand up comedy, as an inspiration from The Mighty Boosh, hwo gave her the idea that comedy could fuse a number of her creative interests. Additionally, it would be possible to perform stand up comedy with no formal performance training, unlike other forms of performance. Due to the fact she has never studied performance arts, this was an exciting prospect, and within months of her debut five minute comedy slot, she had written a full length debut solo comedy show.
This first solo show was composed due to the fact she didn´t feltl anyone would give her the space to perform a full show and feel out what she was hoping to achieve as a performer, so Nicole needed to build her own space. This mindset led her down the path of becoming an independent festival performer, writer, director, manager, and producer.
After five years creating and touring solo shows in Australia, she moved to the UK.
In 2016, Nicole branched out to write, direct, perform and produce her first theatre piece, in addition to a new comedy show. The theatre debut is a solo autobiographical telling of her experiences as a stripper in Australian Gentlemen´s Clubs.
2017 and 2018 are being fulled with her new comedy show ´´A Robot In Human Skin´´.
