Jody Kamali is a high energy, physical character comedian and Actor. He is a regular face on the alternative comedy and variety circuit in London and the UK. He sweats a lot on stage.
Probably best known (in Bristol) for his You Tube character, ‘Terry The Odd Job Man‘, which has a huge cult following in the West Country, not to mention mass press attention, hailing ‘Terry” as an internet star.
Not a stranger to performing at the Edinburgh Festival, Jody has performed seven shows and is currently working towards a new show for 2015.
Early in 2015, Jody was cast in the British feature film ‘Golden Years’, alongside Bernard Hill and has also worked with Harry Hill on his latest madcap TV project ‘Harry Hill’s Tea Time’.
Captilising in his cult online following, Jody self-funded his own, hilarious, full length straight-to-DVD productions, based on Bristol culture, titled ‘Terry’s Gert Lush Guide to Bristol’ & ‘Terry’s Bristolian Language Lessons’, which were created in 2009 and 2010.
Jody hails from Bristol and is of Iranian / British – Bristolian origin – hence he is occasionally asked to audition for a middle Eastern tyrant or a ‘man with a comical Bristolian accent’. He is also writing this ‘about me’ in third person, as though someone else is writing it, to give the illusion he has a huge team behind him.
