Elf Lyons is an award-winning red-hatted comedian and clown from London.
A regular performer on the UK comedy circuit, Elf has performed all around the world at leading arts festivals in the UK, Europe and Australia - sometimes dressed as an astronaut, a shark, or naked.
Known for her distinctive style on stage - described as ´a more focussed Eddie Izzard´ by Chortle and ´Hilariously brave´ by British VOGUE - Elf loves creating work that is relevant, political and joyful. She mixes her vulnerabilities, her obscure geeky knowledge and her sass to create fun, action packed quests for her and the audience, often resulting in a huge fun mess on stage.
From stand-up, live art, opera, film, theatre and cabaret Elf has had extensive experience writing, directing and acting all around the world and the UK in a variety of forms.
Currently Elf runs and promotes the monthly comedy night The Matron Presents... at Her Upstairs, London and this year is taking her two comedy shows, Swan and Hilda & The Spectrum, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
