Steve McLean (Comedian & Ex-Poet)
Steve McLean is a Londonised Scottish stand-up and former performance poet.
In 2013 he switched to comedy after discovering there was laughter in the things he said between his verses.
He´s produced and performed in five Edinburgh Fringe shows -Tight Six Showcase 2014, Anarchy Cabaret 2015, Steve McLean´s Razzamatazz, 2015, Steve McLean´s Rambunctious Reading Room 2016, Are you Really Being Severed. The latter was his first solo show which he is still working on and expanding.
2017 will see him take his first play to the Fringe, a monologue about the soul of Richard Nixon defending his actions in the afterlife (who said Edinburgh was pretentious).
