Neil Frost trained as an actor at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. He also trained in clown with Mick Barnfather and Jos Houben (Complicite Theatre) and Phil Burgers (Dr Brown). Neil is also a skilled improviser having trained in longform improv with David Shore (Second City Theatre).
For the last 15 years Neil has worked frequently as a festival and corporate party compere, boozy bingo host, clown, comedian and character actor. He is part of the critically acclaimed comedy double act The Establishment, who were NATYS: New Act of the Year finialist 2017.
Neil has a vast experience in corporate entertainment, having performed at The World Economic Forum in Switzerland and for various celebrities, royalty and CEOs.
He has been a studio audience warm-up comedian for ITV’s Loose Women. Also, he regularly performs cabaret at festivals such as Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Blissfields and BoomTown Fair.
Neil runs a bi-monthly London alternative comedy night The Spectacular Spectrum of Now with comedian Cassie Atkinson (cassieatkinson.com)
They also have a comedy act called The Grand Doozers, which is available for party and corporate hire.
Experienced in immersive and interactive theatre, Neil has worked with pioneering theatre company Shunt (shunt.co.uk) and performance artistes Nigel and Louise (nigelandlouise.com) He´s also a member of comedy troupes The Honky Bonk Comrades and Café Kølbert Showwaiters (showwaiters.co.uk)
He has an hour long solo clown show that uses no language called The Story of The Nervous Man (a silent comedy) It has been performed at the Camden, Edinburgh and Brighton Festival. At the 2015 Prague Fringe Festival it was nominated for the Inspiration Award (Best New Show).
