Sadia Azmat is a British Asian Stand-up comedian and writer from East London. A chance encounter in a call centre helped her to discover her mentor, the wonderful Deborah Frances-White, and start performing and writing comedy.
In 2011, Sadia performed her debut show ‘Please Hold - You’re Being Transferred To A UK Based Asian Representative’, featuring on BBC Front Row. In 2014, her debut full-length show ‘I Am Not Malala’ was played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
