Criminal is an improv night in which the foul smell of murder looms large and lingers. One comedian plays a detective; the other three play suspects. The murderer finds out onstage at the beginning of the evening that they are guilty. It is the detective´s job to work out which of the three suspects this murderer is.
Criminal, produced by Ralph Jones and Joel Gatehouse, is a monthly improv gig and podcast hosted at Kings Place. Comedians including Miles Jupp, Josie Lawrence, and Marcus Brigstocke have performed at the gig, because it´s a decent gig and they´re decent people. In July 2017 Criminal graced the theatre tent of the Underbelly Festival Southbank. Big tent.
